The process of introspection, in which you stop moving, close your eyes, and focus on your breathing to still your brain activity, is a sacred time in which you connect with your true soul.

As the Buddha, the pioneer of Buddhism, said, "Seek not God, but find within yourself through your own efforts truth, peace, and light," it is important to focus our awareness on the divinity within ourselves and strengthen our faith, rather than clinging to or relying on something or someone outside of ourselves.

To do this, we need to make time for ourselves, even if just for a little while in our busy daily lives, and make an effort to maintain enough serenity to sense the light within.

Introspection is more subdued and quiet than what is external. Without calm, you cannot achieve peace of mind.

That's why many people lack interest and don't persist, so they continue to busy themselves with worldly pastimes, accumulate worldly desires, and repeat the cycle of pain and joy.

Introspection brings you to your true self.

It transcends the ego and allows you to sense the only being that creates and sustains you in the present, and that divinity is who you truly are.

When this sublime sense is strengthened, you no longer need to seek external protection.

You learn to trust that the truth resides within you at all times.

You will realize that your life's guidance comes from within, not from anyone else.

Things on the outside are constantly changing.

But the truth inside you is constant.

The power of energy self-reflection is difficult to quantify or prove, but with consistent practice, you will begin to feel a definite shift in your energy.

A shift in energy means a shift in your vibrational field.

If you do this, your reality will change for the better and you will naturally be guided towards becoming the person you are meant to be.
