Yoga means union with God.
It's not about the well-known beauty and health yoga or showing off how many difficult poses you can do (although that's wonderful in itself), but the essence is about sensing God within yourself through the act of offering each moment to God, surrendering to him, and being guided by him.
It's about resonating with the all-encompassing being within yourself and strengthening that connection.
In other words, yoga is a discipline that refines the soul and evolves and improves.
It is a sacred thing that allows you to truly feel your connection with God, and it is a path for your true self to blossom.
Yoga can solve all of our worldly worries, such as self-confidence, courage, energy, love, health, freedom, comfort, material abundance, spiritual abundance, and purpose in life. And whether we realize it or not, every day is an opportunity to practice yoga.
Yoga can be done by anyone, anytime, anywhere.
For example, when you find yourself in a situation that would normally make you angry, first take a deep breath.
And try to see things from a different perspective than usual.
Realize that "Everything is mutual," and then try changing the way you communicate, your facial expression, and other ways to become a different person, speaking and acting differently than you used to be.
Other ideas include taking the initiative to do things that you tend to ignore, actively looking for the good in yourself and others, and truly feeling the gratitude and blessings of the natural world.
It's also good to love, forgive, and accept yourself.
With this perspective, you will gradually become more tolerant of all things other than yourself.
This is because you will see that everything is brought about by God's grace.
However, you should not become attached to it.
Thinking, "If I do this, I will get..." means that you are acting with attachment to the result.
Just calmly do what you can in front of you now, and dedicate all your actions and results to the God who created you.
This is true yoga, and union with God.
There's also the idea of "visually imagining the outcome."
It's true that positive thoughts attract positive things.
It's also true that thoughts become vibrations, which are imprinted in the subconscious, changing the aura that a person gives off and attracting things that are in tune with them.
However, ego-driven desires often force things into reality.
At times like these, we usually become attached to the results we have achieved.
What's more, a characteristic of the ego is that it fears losing what it has achieved.
Even when we accomplish something and experience momentary happiness, our minds become restless and unsettled, and we focus on what's missing, trying to fill in the gaps and patch things up with something external.
This is because the person is not in resonance with their true self (soul), so they try to prove themselves with something external.
External things are constantly changing.
No matter when, where, or what you're doing, what remains constant is truth.
That is your soul.
It shines brightly within you, waiting to resonate with you.
Whatever happens, whether the ego feels joy or pessimism, when you are no longer attached to the outcome, you are doing yoga.
Through yoga comes the certainty that whatever you gain or lose, what is needed and meaningful in your life will be fulfilled in a divine timeline and sublime flow.
Here, you will always feel peace and tranquility.
The more you practice yoga, the more naturally you will begin to sense the connections, miracles, and gratitude in all things.
You will learn to keep yourself in a good mood, and before you know it, you will be able to make the most of your life in an environment that loves and needs you, and fulfill your role in this life.
It is natural to be satisfied both physically and spiritually.
You are born with the protection and guidance of God.
However, the desires that have accumulated throughout our lives, the desires from previous lives, and the karma that is the challenge of this life, Prarabdha Karma, are simply preventing us from seeing the union with God.
The only way to remember and strengthen the union with God that exists within everyone is to become detached from actions and their results.
No matter what happens or what emotions you feel, in the end you offer that event and those feelings to God.
If you have a desire or something you desperately want to come true, respect, love, and accept that emotion, imagine your ideal, and offer the action and the results to God.
And each day, you should be guided by the feelings that come to you through intuition.
In fact, the fulfillment of your fervent wish may itself be karma.
This karma asks, "Even after you achieve this result, will you be able to remain calm? Will you be able to live with humility and love? Will you be able to share your happiness with others?"
In addition to the yoga we've shared so far, there's something else that's important.
And that is to stop moving your body, close your eyes, and still your thoughts, even if just for a few minutes each day.
Concentrate on your breathing, transcend the realm of words, and feel present in the present moment.
In yogic terms, this is called chitta vritti nirodha.
There is also a breathing technique called pranayama, which intentionally adjusts the flow of breath, but for today, let's start by making time to calm the mind and body.
In this way, each day is yoga itself, and a place to practice yoga.
If we don't pay attention, the days will just pass by and we tend to think that only special occasions are the best days, but if we realize that every day and every moment is yoga (union with God), the world we see will change.
Your words and actions will transform into the true you that God created you to be.
It means resonating with the infinite abundance of God's mysterious power.
The more sacred you become, the more what needs to go will go and the more easily what needs to come will come.
Because we normally dedicate ourselves to God without attachment, we are able to accept worldly blessings without hesitation, and we become unfazed when we encounter difficulties caused by our ego.
This also means that the suffering in your life will be reduced.
Every event and situation in life is yoga.
What kind of yoga will you learn today?
No matter where you are or when, remember that you are connected to God.
